TakoDefi AMA transcript
On the 10st of July, we held an AMA in our telegram main group with Kurisv from TakoDefi answering questions about their platform and everything coming to our recent partnership.
Here is the transcript done by our amazing KoaKoa (aka KoaMama, one of our Koagirls 😉) for all of who missed this great time and want to learn more about TakoDefi.
Silfaster : Welcome to the Koala Defi X Tako Defi partnership AMA!
Yesterday we had a great AMA over at @takodefi, today the team from Tako Defi will be joining us to tell you everything about their project!
The AMA will consist of 5 team questions before we unmute the chat. After the team questions you will have a chance to ask Tako Defi anything! The team from Tako Defi will pick 5 questions and answer them!

Can you introduce yourself, Tako Defi and your team to us?
Kurisv :
Sure!, I’m co founder and lead developer at TakoDefi 🐙, I’ve been implementing the things we’ve launched since the beginning.
The boring part is that I have a lot of experience working in banking and wanted to contribute to the DeFi!.
Silfaster :
That’s great, how big is the TakoDefi team and how did you guys come up with the name?
I loooooove Tako by the way ❤️❤️❤️
Kurisv :
TakoDefi is primarily a yield farming platform, or that was in the beginning, because now you have many more options, we are yield optimizers, we have gamification with our token, competitive farming and a growing community! 💜
Our technical team is not very large, we are 3, all developers, but I am mainly in charge 😎, since they don’t show up much around here. On the other hand in social networks we are accompanied by a select group of Mods that support us in caring for the community 🥰

Haha Tako come from “Octopus” in Japanese, we got to the name because we are fascinated by Japanese culture! 🎌
We wanted something entertaining and with a cute logo.

So from what I understand, Tako Defi has 2 main tokens, $Tako and $Inku and is cross chain with Polygon.
Can you tell us a bit about the two Tako Defi tokens?
What is their role in the Tako Defi ecosystem?
Kurisv :
Yep! 2 tokens, more powa!
Well, $Tako 🐙 is the native token of the platform, it becomes the support for the entire ecosystem, it has a common emission, being of unlimited type it becomes the reward of our farms.
Currently $Tako is available on both networks supported by an AnySwap bridge 🤓
On the other hand $Inku 🖤 is our last token, it is the reward of the vaults, we wanted to make it ultra special, leaving it a tiny emission and a 160k hardcap!
Although $Inkuis not as known as $Tako, we will soon integrate it to more things, for example to Vaults in Polygon and to our new $Nalis Bermuda! 🔺

Both networks, that sounds complicated!
But I know it’s really simple and safe in practice.
Can you tell the koalas that don’t know cross chain yet a little bit about polygon and why Tako Defi decided to go cross chain?
Kurisv :
It seems complicated, but in practice it is not so much!
I imagine that many have heard at least of Polygon or Matic that are the same.
It is the trending network atm due to its almost zero fees, you could make many transactions compared to BSC, it is an L2 layer of Ethereum so it is reliable and it is being accepted in several places, for example in Binance deposits!
For these reasons and why we love to build is that we open the doors to crosschain! 💪🏻🐙💜
Besides that we went with the jungle of Apes 🦍

That’s awesome! We just released a blog today about some of the benefits of going cross chain, we hope to follow Tako Defi soon to conquer Polygon! 💪
So you just said Vaults? I know many of our koala friends love vaults!
Can you tell us a bit more about the Polygon Vaults on Tako Defi?
Kurisv :
We love the comfort of relaxing and watching your stakings grow 🤑
At Polygon we plan to do the same, make a bridge with $Inku 🖤 and open the doors there to implement many farms!
Since the fees are so low, we could compound more times!
And thus attract more people to our platform, we plan to grow and grow! 🏗When will that be?
Believe me that’s very soon 👀

So you guys have the Vaults and another way to earn tokens, the Bermudas, can you tell us more about them?
I heard a very nice Bermuda will be released today ❤️
Kurisv :
Bermudas 🔺 are pools like the existing ones, but with the difference that they deliver rewards in other tokens and that they have the quality of being extra fun, since they are competitive, what does this mean?
That by staking in them you can earn multipliers for the time you stay, in addition to being able to burn $Tako 🔥 to even earn more multipliers.
Being competitive force you to be attentive to your earnings, since someone else could take them by applying some bonuses.
Yes! like you said, today we are launching a Bermuda to earn $Nalis, right after this AMA!

Can you give us a glimpse in the future of Tako Defi?
What do you guys have in stock for the investors?
Kurisv :
Sure! As we said before, in the near future we are going to implement the vaults in Polygon together with $INKU.
On top of that we are fighting to graduate soon from ApeSwap!
And get our hat on the other side the voting system is coming that will allow us to interact much better with our community!
But the most important thing is that we will not stop building! bringing innovative ideas to our users and more partners 💪🐙

Why did you decide to create another token ($Inku)?
Is it necessary two tokens for the development of the ecosystem?
Kurisv : We believed it necessary, since $Tako has limitations such as its inflation as a vault reward would not be so striking. In addition, it allows us to create new ideas to use both tokens.

Besides Bermudas, will you open other pools / farms or products with NFT as a reward?
Kurisv : It could happen our other partner FarmHero works in something similar, we could get to see a Tako NFT in their listings 👀👀👀 can’t spoil

How do you feel TakoDefi is contributing to the BSC ecosystem by partnering with KoalaDefi?
Kurisv : We believe that the DeFi world has to rely on good projects, we do not have to compete if we are going for the same objective. Supporting ourselves and generating instances of growth is our way of contributing 💜

Will there also be $Lyptus-$BUSD pool and earn $Tako and $Inku?
Silfaster : no, the farms and pools are only to earn Nalis, the bushes were created to earn other tokens ❤️
